The Altitude and Landscaping in the Central Highlands presents unique challenges in particular the harvesting on un-even terrain. It prevents mechanical mass extraction methods from being used. They need to rely on selective hand-picking to get the best beans to maintain quality. This is also better on the Plants themselves and the environment at large.

After spending two days with Elon Farm, you cannot help but feel more appreciative of where the produce we enjoy every day comes from. The family showed a strong attention for detail and thoughtful care into everything they do for the product, the people, relationships and the land that is responsible. Thank you for having us Jenny, letting us stay in your home, feeding us delocious home cooked food / coffee and unloading a wealth of knowledge onto us making this an experience and time in our life that we will never forget.
